So I took advantage of the sale Fry's had on the i7 4770 (I got it for $200. Actually, I had Best Buy Price Match Fry's sale price).

So my i7 4770 should be here sometime next week. What would you recommend to build around this? I probably have $800 - $900 left to work with for my build. I'd like a good Gaming PC that will last me a while.

Does this build look like it will work?

I've already got plenty of RAM, so I'll just be reusing that. I was told that the fancy dual paired RAM really didn't improve things much so I didn't bother with it.

How does this build look to you guys?

(I'd really like a "Flashier" looking case, but can't seem to find one I like. My buddy has a case where the cables, etc all plug into the top and follow a trench on top to the back of the machine. I like that he never has to pull his tower out to get to the back. I haven't had any luck finding a case like that though....)

Well you cannot overclock that CPU so the stock cooler will be fine. No need to waste money on an aftermarket one.

Get a 120gb SSD and a 1tb HDD. MUCH better use of money.

Yeah, I thought about just dropping that CPU cooler. $30 bucks saved.

I have tons of Hard Drives lying around. Honestly, I probably won't even buy the SSD. I already have a 180GB SSD that I'll most likely swap into the new desktop. Sounds like this build looks solid. I think I'm ready to spend some money.
