I need a better graphics card, specifically to run ESO (Elder Scrolls Online). I was looking at ATI Radeon 6450 but I just wanted to make sure it would be enough to run the game smoothly. Here are my specs, and just to point out money isnt a problem, not looking to drop 500 on a card but im willing to go pretty high for good performance.

- AMD Phenom II X4 630 Quad Core CPU
- XtremeGear 600 Watt Power Supply
- ATI Radeon 5450 1gb DDR2 PCI-E
- 1TB SATA III 6gb 7200 RPM 64mb
- Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3
- Screen Resolution is 1680 x 1050

If any other information is needed I could probably find it, thats just what i know.

I'm looking for suggestions, overall advice on what I should buy to improve this in order to run this game on normal without frame lag.

Once again, money isn't an issue. Thanks ^.^

A GTX 750 Ti seems to be a decent minimum choice:

You may consider getting a higher end model, just to be safe ... of course that will cost you quite a bit more.

If your going for a budget gaming GPU than I would recommend not getting the HD 6450, I had one and it really cannot play games it is more so for media, so an HD 7770 isa good choice or R7 260x or R7 250. Also If you can find a GTx 750 Ti on sale that would not run your bill to high....of course the are many options for a Graphics card these are good for the prices

Look t the GTX750 or GTX750Ti, or the R7 260x, 7850, or R9 270.

The 6450 is a low power card, mostly for HTPC style boxes where the most demanding thing is watching a video.

A GTX 760 is pretty much one of the better bang for your buck cards out there, give you 40% or so more performance over the 750 for $100 more. However, with the PSU you have you may have issues. It technically SHOULD run it, but I personally wouldn't trust that PSU in a machine I own. Just my .02

Oh I just noticed that you said money was NOT a problem..if so than get the best graphics card you can afford. For price to performance right now, as the prices go up and down, XFX Double D R9-270X is only 249.99 on newegg.ca...Also the 29 270s are prety much the same but slightly cheaper. the r9 280x is not a good price right now. And From the green team EVGA GTX 760 2Gb w ACX or a GTX 770 2Gb

The GTX 770 is a pretty good card. It is about 300 to 350 for 2 GB.

like Jake Loyd Said that PSU may not be sufficient for running a Mid to HIgh end GPU. I actually never heard of XtremeGear so I would not be hooking up a High power GPU to it just to be safe. I did Google it and I saw that Amazon had it for about $25. I would get a Brand name PSU for sure. COrsair, Seasonic, XFX...ect

Good point. You may be looking towards a power supply failure with that power supply. It appears to be a cheap quality brand that could put your entire system at risk.

I suspect, it is probably rated high enough to run a 750 Ti, but the key point is that it is *probably* a cheap brand that may not run at full spec, may fail early, or may provide damaging powerflow to components (that may damage parts).

It would be a good idea to purchase a quality brand power supply along with the video card.
