Hi everyone my father just got back from hospital, he was in coma for 6 weeks. He has to recreate the link between the brain and muscle as well as hand dexterity. So i want to buy him a gaming pc the doctor said it was good. He is currently playing on my old laptop.

Thx for te fast answer,

I can probably find a old keyboard and mouse but i dont think it is a big part of the budget. Also I live in Canada the parts are more expensive here, you need to turn to canada option on Partpicker to have my real cost.

It is around 30-35 C or 95 F in summer around here so i don't know about the OC.

Don't listen to him, you can easily build an acceptable 1080p gamer at $1000, especially for the games you listed. The i5 in mine is great for gaming and the 270x will push all those games, except maybe demanding moments in WOW, at ultra settings.
 
not for gaming. Even high end game have a hard time utilizing 4 cores so the extra cores of similar AMD CPUs do not help with gaming and intel cores are much faster so they are better gamers. If you also want to do heavy multi tasking or video editing and animation then AMD might be worth it, but for gaming stick with intel.
