Haha well only 30 people rated the EVGA and almost 650 people rated the Corsair, i would say the Corsair is more reliable, it is a bit quieter but the efficiencies are a bit different but the Corsair comes with long sleeved wires making it a bit safer to install and to keep it working.

I am running an R7 260x on a XFX TS 550 bronze that is similar to the one that was recommended and another r7 260x on a corsair cx 430 .

if you are getting the EVGA, it is $52.99 on Amazon and it has the $10 rebate too so it is $42.99 after the rebate

Get the XFX one.

The XFX is really really nice. Everyone here has been disheartened by people who don't want other PSU suggestions so they don't try to recommend outright anymore and there are usually budget constraints that prevent them from making the best possible suggestion so everyone has gotten used to choosing the best one out of restricted choices in example, the EVGA 600B is cheaper at amazon and it is better than the CX 600 but the XFX 550 is always the best choice for mid range when some discounts are available but there are shipping costs at NCIX so it will end up costing more in the end however it is still within the $70 budget.

Get the XFX one but I was just wanted to show you how we are confused since we have preconceived notions and we didn't want to create friction by forcing you to get the XFX even though it is within your budget and it will let us sleep calmly at night knowing that you bought the best possible PSU within your budget even though they are charging shipping however you could get the r7 260x at NCIX as well to get free shipping but I am unfamiliar with NCIX prices.

To add to the confusion, which R7 260x are you getting and what is your budget on the video card?

I would need to know if you have an OEM case in which case you will want to get a single fan 260x since it will be difficult to fit in a XFX DD r7 260x 1GB since it has 2 fans.

I have a powercolor r7 260x 1 GB with reference cooler that runs hot at 56º C but I can't fit an aftermarket cooler card in that computer

I also have a MSI r7 260x 2GB with an aftermarket cooler that runs at a cool 35ºC

then there is the consideration of whether the 2 GB of memory will be completely utilized within the limits of the 260x's processing speed *sigh*
