I just installed a GTX 690 to replace two 560s I was running in SLI. It seems to be running well: it topped out at 77 degrees on Crysis 3 max settings, so no overheating. Skryim ran without issue as well. However, I tried to boot up Bioshock Infinite, and the display constantly blacks out and tries to come back on, accompanied by the Windows hardware connect/disconnect sounds. I haven't tried any other games yet, and don't really want to without some input.

I'm running a Corsair GS700, which should theoretically be enough to handle the GPU, although my best guess is that it's not quite up to the task (I have four HDDs, a Sound Blaster Z, and two optical drives). The other option I think may be the DisplayPort/HDMI adapter I bought (rocketfish I think--it was a used item from a local computer parts store) to connect to my Samsung monitor. However, if that was the case, I would expect it to happen all the time, not just during one game.

Thoughts?
