I am looking at building my first PC for gaming and some light video editing.
I live in New Zealand where parts are a fair bit more expensive than over in america but we do have a few different websites to buy parts from.
My budget is around 1200$ and this is a maximum. (this is NZ currency). At the moment my build is this http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/p/3HN8X
Does this seem like a decent build and are there any improvements i could make?

AMD FX-6300 can handle a GTX770. For 1080p gaming at your budget its perfect:

I have also just built a new system in NZ, but I didn't know about nz.pcpartpicker.com. I would use that site to ensure compatibility, but price some or all of the parts on ebay. I found that to be the cheaper option rather than using NZ retailers. As with anything, the more time and research you do, the better price you'll find.

Just looking at your build now, I can almost guarantee you could get the RAM and GPU cheaper on ebay. Just make sure you factor shipping into your budget.
