I have a gigabyte F2A88XM-HD3 motherboard on my first build and a windows 7 disc.M y boot option 1 is my asus DRW-24B1ST i and my boot option 2 is the Kingston SH103S3120G. When I try to install windows 7 it says reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key. Then once I press a key it takes a minute or two and the same error message pops up. Please help and thank you!

your first boot device assuming you are installing fro DVD should be the asus DRW , set that as boot priority 1 , press f10 save and exit , insert windows cd and when prompted press any key to boot from DVD
