I am new to whole building you own pc world and this will be my very first build ( my budget is $1500). What I have in mind for this build for it to be a gaming/work/hackintosh (Dual boot with windows 8 and osx Mavericks) build. For the gaming I will be playing most titles at 1080p at atleast anything over 30 fps ( I want to experience more than 30 frames due to the fact that im so use to console gaming). For the work part I will be running VMWare Workstation and CS5 (possibly upgrade to CS6), also I want to try to start my own youtube channel with 10-15 min 1080p videos on it, I dont know if I will stick with it or not but its just somthing I want to try and the video editing experience will good for me as ive never done it before. Finally for the hackintosh part the only reason I want the hackintosh is becasue I know nothing about it and would like to play around with it and also copy of CS5 I have is for mac's but my main question with this whole hackintosh thing is do you think I should build a hackintosh and limit certain hardware to it or should I (if even possible) get the osx mavericks iso file and use it in VMWare so my hardware wouldnt be limited? Or could I just buy a copy of osx snow leopard for $20 and use that as the boot file for VMWare than upgrade it to mavericks? Here is the link to all the parts I have so far and yes I know I dont have a monitor picked out yet as I still need to do more research for that because im trying to find a 21-24 inch semi glossy gaming monitor. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3HMVO .

Lastly the reason for the build being an itx case and mobo is becasue I kow the steam machines will be coming out and I love that idea of compact builds, I have no intention for sli or anything that will use another pcie lane so I decided why not. My main concern with the itx build though is airflow for eveyrhting, the case seems as though there good enough airflow for the gpu when the heat rises on that it cant go anywere and also theres only 1 dust filter in this case but I can always just make my own dust filters (So this makes me wonder if i should stick withan itx build or if i should move over to an micro atx build and a case like the Fractal Design arc mini r2 sence its still relatively small and an amazing looking case in my eyes). Also when its gaming time I could hook this up to my living room tv and when its work time I could bring it back over to the office to get stuff done withough any struggle du to it being compact, best of both worlds. I will also not being overclocking which is why i chose the Xeon e3-1230v3 over the i7 and why I chose the h87 chipset over the z87. Lastly the reason I have the closed loop water cooler is just becase I feel like any aftermarket cooler even if your not overcloking is better than the stock cooler and I wanted a quite cooler that didnt take up to much room. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions ( with the video card I wasnt to sure on which one to pick so if you have a better idea or can save me money in other places) please let me know I am willing to learn sence this is going to be my first build.

I'm no hackintosh expert, but I think you should use the same build as other people with experience building a hackintosh. That way, you can ensure minimal amount of problems.

And liquid cooling is not always quieter. There's still a fan on it.
For the case, I recommend the Corsair 250D for it's looks and functionality.
