r9 280x crossfire vs gtx 680 sli

Sup guys, im using gtx 680 sli soc edition from gigabyte and just want to ask is it worth to move into r9 280x. im using wqhd monitor (1440 p). Do you think r9 280x crossfire would bit my current sli?

no, there won't be a huge difference, the GTX 680 compared to a 7970 wasn't "huge", and the R9 280X is just almost a 7970Ghz, making a marginal improvement, stick to your 680's in SLI.

The 680 is only about 10% ahead of the 7970.

The GTX 680 is somewhat equal to the GTX 770, which in turn trades blows with the R9 280X. This means that moving from your current setup to R9 280X Crossfire wouldn't be much of an improvement and it definitely wouldn't be worth it.
