Not for 1440x900, get something like a 750 Ti or 660 for that res, unless you plan on buying a 1080p monitor soon.

Did you read my comment? Unless you are going to buy a 1080p monitor soon, DO NOT buy a 770/680, as it is way too much for that res, get a GTX 660 or 750 Ti instead.

Well but the 770 will handle the games for more years on that res

Well, actually you will have to put on huge levels of AA to get rid of jaggies which would lower your FPS by more than a larger res would.

I mean it's up to you in the end, I'd recommend a new monitor and a 770, or your current monitor with a 660, or a combination of the 2 with a new monitor and a 760 (if you can't afford option 1)

And what will happen if i get 770 and keep this monitor?

Well sure, you'll run most games in triple figure FPS but you'll get large screen tearing, have to ramp up the AA and it will generally be a much poorer gaming experience.

Wait so if i get 660 i will have the same fps but with high graphics than with the 770? or it will be the same just th 770 will have more fps that woudn't be notably but with the same graphics?

It's proportional, the 660 is to 1440x900 what a 770 would be to 1920x1080, FPS wise. However, running a game at high settings will look a whole lot nicer on full HD screen.
