Hi everyone

I'm looking to upgrade my current build and any advice will be greatly appreciated. I have a budget of £350 and my current setup is as follows:

Operating System: Windows 8 (64-Bit)
Motherboard: Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 (Bios 07/05/2012)
CPU: AMD Phenom X2 555 Black Edition 3.2GHZ
RAM: Corsair 8GB (4x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9) (9-9-9-24) 1.65V
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 (768mb)
Drives: 2 x Western Digital 1000Gb Sata III
Liteon IHAS324-32 24x Internal DVDRW Black Retail SATA
PSU: OCZ Technology StealthXstream II 600W Power Supply
CPU Fan: Coolermaster Hyper TX3
Other Fans: 2*120mm / 2*92mm

I'm looking to keep all parts except the motherboard / processor and gpu.

I have spotted two potential motherboards / processors I am looking at. One is the ASUS Sabertooth motherboard with a FX 6300 Processor for £215.00 or there is a GIgabyte 970 motherboard with a FX 8320 Processor for £250.00.

My problem is I cannot decide on the above as they then dictate the choice of GPU I can get. If i go with the FX6300 I have about £140 to spend, whereas if I go with the FX8320 I only have £100 to spend on a GPU. I have no GPU in mind so I'll be thankful for any suggestions.

Regards

Then yes id go for the 6300. it is more than capable and you will want to get the Best gpu possible. You dont need to spent the money on a sabertooth though its not going to help your performance at all. a more modestly priced mobo will do fine. that way you can get the best gpu possible

You can overclock the FX 6300 and upgrade to a FX 8320 or 8350 later when you feel the cpu is not up to your desire.

Definately going for the FX6300 and the MSI GTX760. Have just picked a case but not sure whether the GTX760 will go in it. Can anyone confirm whether it will or wont.

Heres the case....http://www.amazon.co.uk/VIBOX-Commando-Temperature-Display-Cooling/dp/B00CRETLZM
