OS: Windows 8 (64 bit)
Motherboard: Asrock H61M-HVS (http://www.asrock.com/mb/intel/h61m-hvs/)
CPU: Intel i7 3770 3.4ghz
RAM: A-DATA 8GB DDR3 (some cheap ram)
GPU: HIS Iceq Turbo HD 7870 2GB
Drives: Seagate Barracuda 500gb
PSU: Corsair CX600
CPU Fan: I think it's Cooler Master. Has a black heatsink with a blue fan on top. Roughly 50$.
Other Fans: One on the cover of PC. One attached to GPU.

I was thinking about upgrading my Motherboard. I have W8 right now, but I have an OEM license. I do have an unopened copy of W7 though. But I'm not sure how big of a pain it would be. I have no problem reformatting.

Was also looking into better memory. But not sure how big of a performance increase it would be. Also, my hard drive has been having problems. When I start up my PC, it will sometimes tell me to select a boot drive. After a couple restarts, it boots up just fine. (when trying to select boot drive, my HDD is not on the list).

My budget is around 300$. I play games on this PC, and I stream. I want to upgrade because I want to ensure my PC is ready for future games.

Thank you and if you have any questions, or if I didn't cover anything, let me know.

Alright, well I was also considering Crossfire. Of course, I would need to upgrade my Motherboard but I think it is doable. I've done some research on Crossfire and read that it will cause headaches, lol.

I might also have to upgrade PSU? Not sure if 600w is enough. I don't plan to OC.
