Hi everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and I want to make sure it will run on my set up before purchasing. It's a little old (bought most of the parts in 2010, upgraded motherboard and added second GPU in 2011, RAM in 2012) but with some preliminary research it seems that upgrading my GPU will give me the most bang for my buck.

OS: Windows 7 (64 bit)

Motherboard: MSI 890FXA-GD70 AM3+ AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 2.8GHz Socket AM3 125W Desktop Processor HDT55TFBGRBOX

I currently OC this to 3.2GHz.

RAM: G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR

GPU: I have two of these crossfired. XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Drives: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular High Performance Power Supply compatible with Intel Sandybridge Core i3 i5 i7 Intel 4th Gen CPU Haswell and AMD Phenom

CPU FAN: Stock CPU Fan. Works well, hasn't reached very high temperatures.

I'm trying to do minimal upgrades that will give me the best bang for my buck. I think this system is good enough where it can handle a new GPU relatively well. I'm looking to spend between 200-350 on a new GPU.

Any suggestions or concerns would be greatly appreciated. I'm no expert by any means, so all the knowledge you have is greatly appreciated.

I've been primarily looking at this GPU: XFX Double D R9-270X-CDFC Radeon R9 270X 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

Thanks again everyone!
