Case fans and the Motherboard

I'm new to building, I've been MMO gaming on an HP Pavilion dv6 laptop for the past 3 or so years, it has AMD Vision (aka one of the worst CPUs you can have for MMO gaming), and I'm ready to step my game up.

I've chosen parts to go with my new computer and I'm having some conflicting issues concerning fan sockets on the motherboard.
The Computer Case I chose is the Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower. It comes with two decent 140mm case fans; one in the front, and one in the back. I'm planning on replacing those fans + adding an extra 140mm after market case fan for the tower roof.
The motherboard I chose is the Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard, it has 1 x CPU Fan connector(s) (1 x 4 -pin), 1 x CPU OPT Fan connector(s) (1 x 4 -pin), and 3 x Chassis Fan connector(s) (3 x 4 -pin).

My question here is will I need to buy a Fan Hub (ex. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811997110 ) for the three fans or will my motherboard easily support these three fans.

Two more notes:

-The case comes with three-speed fan controller is strategically integrated in the front panel and supports up to 3 fans. Do all three fans plug into this and it will plug into the motherboard allowing easier cable management?

-Are there any parts in that build list that should be changed for better parts?

Thanks.

Fan controller uses molex plug, so you need to plug it to your power supplys molex cable. But if there is something wrong with the fan controller, you can always just plug your fans to mobo

But does the fan controller plug into the motherboard and power the fans just as they would be powered plugged into a Chassis?
