Hello,
I have a question regarding video card's while using adobe photoshop, indesign, dreamweaver as well as blender 3d and cinema 4d. Let me start with my spec's.
CPU: i7-3770k
MOBO: asrock extreme6
GPU: evga 760 4gb ftw
RAM: 16gb 1600
STORAGE: samsung 250 ssd evo/ seagate 2tb dump
PSU: xfx 750w pro
OS: windows 7 pro
MONITORS: (2) benq gw 2450's.
My questions are, would an upgraded gpu give me better performance with a 2560 x 1440 monitor? I do not game at all.
I use a mac in college but have found them extremely irritating, they are very slow and render times with blender 3d allow me to take lunch before completion. One benchmark I ran took 7 min 42 seconds at home, on the mac I quit after 20 minutes of waiting. I have yet to try a quadro card, but they seem quite expensive (for me anyway) and I am fairly happy with what my current system is doing. But, it is time for an upgrade to a higher resolution screen (27 in. 2560 x 1440 and a second 1920 x 1080) and looking for some suggestions on best upgrade path.

Well a 290X would be good for multiple displays or a 770. It all depends on your budget
