I want to swap my CPU for a much faster one that I know my motherboard supports and I'm wondering, if I do this, how will this effect the OS? I'm hoping I won't have to re-install everything.
OS: Windows 7 installed on a SSD
Motherboard: M5A97 R2.0
AMD Phenom II X2 565.
