This PC is for gaming solely no video editing or rendering. I added all the peripherals and a new router to cushion the fact I have to use wifi. Feel free to point out errors this is one of my first builds.

I would spend a lot less on the peripherals so you can get a better graphics card like a 290x or 780ti.

I have changed ram, but overall it is a good build. You could also change the PSU for xfx, seasonic or antec but evga supernova is a good one too.

You don't need thermal paste. There is one that comes with the cpu cooler and that is already a good quality thermal paste.
You also have a lot of fans. You don't need so many. You don;t have to fill out every fan mount with fans. The one that comes with the case is sufficient.

The stock nzxt phantom 410 case fans are one 120mm in front, a 120mm in the rear, and a 140mm on top. Would I need a fan controller? Or are these fans good enough?

Yea the 290x outperforms the 780, but right now it would be better to get a GTX 780 because it's around the same level and is significantly cheaper:

You can swap the three fans if you want. The fan controller depends. If you prefer to have something physical to change the fan speed then it is worth it.

I changed a little but. Is the PSU ok? Is a 780ti overkill for a single monitor and a 4670k cpu?

It is overkill, a 780 will be great for gaming. I would get a good 750W PSU so you can sli two 780s later on.

Looks really good. Got any recommendations for optical drive or wireless card/usb cause sadly there's no way for me to be wired. Also do you have a recommendation for fan setup or should I just experiment

Or you can go for full tower case, which has got more fans included. Razer's keyboard, mouse and headset. Creative's speakers which are great and I had a chance of giving them a try. Or go for Razerz build which looks very good too and it is for lower price.
