Magical disappearing DVD Drive!

The Problem

My Blue Ray drive used to appear in Windows 8.1 Pro's Explorer under "This PC." Now I have to type into the navigation bar "D:" So the drive still works, but it just doesn't show up in Explorer next to the rest of the drives.

What I've already tried

Checked Device Manager: There's no exclamation point by the optical drive. It's installed and working.

    Edit Registry: In CMD as administrator - "reg.exe add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Controller0" /f /v EnumDevice1 /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001"

Edit Registry: Removed Upper and Lower filters in the DVD's Registry Key according to this link: http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-51093-computer-can-not-show-the-cd-dvd-rom-drive-e

OS Refresh: Reinstall Windows 8.1 Pro using "Keep Files and Settings" option

Recent Change

The optical drive used to display before I configured a RAID 1 array. So all of the above fixes were after setting up RAID 1 array and (obviously) after the optical drive disappeared. As for the SATA configuration, my OS is on an SSD, and I previously had an HDD for storage. Then everything was running in ACHI mode. The change involved replacing the HDD with a RAID 1, and now the HDDs are running in RAID mode (not AHCI). I am pretty sure the optical drive appeared in Explorer after configuring the RAID, but I don't have a way to verify.

. . . Any ideas???
