Can you please help??
since windows has updated my realtek family network adaptor driver i cannot get on the internet through my Ethernet cable from my virgin super hub router ( the lead definitely works)
the old driver works fine, what i have to do is ipconfig release/renew the new driver, choose the old driver then i can use the internet,.but as soon as my pc sleeps or i turn it off and on again windows keeps putting the new driver back on. i tried to d/l the new driver from realtek and it is the new driver that causes the problem. can i make windows stay on the old driver,if so could someone explain (in simple terms)... how...... incidentally my network card is on the motherboard... can some one pllllease help solve this problem

You could try removing the problematic driver via the device manager in control panel. A simple Google search should reveal the steps if you need them. I am running Linux otherwise I would be glad to write some up. Best of luck and look forward to a reply - Sub
