Does anyone know a great quality headphone amplifier?

I have been looking but I can't find a non portable headphone amplifier with 3.5 mm jack sockets. I need it to plug into my TV, laptop or pc (which all use 3.5 mm sound jacks) and then on then plug into my headphones, amplifying the sound. I need it to be stationary/non portable because I don't want to have to use batteries, instead I would prefer for it to plug into a socket. Also I don['t mind too much about the size and for a budget I would say under £80 and I would rather have something that is dear but does the job very very well rather than something cheap that doesn't. Thanks in advance.

Yea. 6.35mm to 3.5mm adaptors should be a buck or two. As mentioned though the one I linked does have 1/8"/3.5mm input/outputs. it just calls them 1/8.

So you may have better luck googling for that depending on your country. And you'll have more choices looking for a 1/4"/6.35mm and just putting a dollar adapter on the cable ends.

thanks and what are 1/8 jacks. sorry am not very technical with all types of connectors

Standard jack sizes are 1/4" for professional equipment and 1/8" for consumer equipment. Which is why you'd have trouble finding a wired amplifier in 1/8" as that would primarily be professional equipment. a 1/8" jack is the same thing as a 3.5mm jack.
