Hi,

I have a system in a Thermaltake Element T mid-tower case (I didn't assemble it myself). I'd like to remove the hard drive but I'm having some trouble. Only one side of the hard drive is exposed so I can only get at two of the screws. The others are hidden inside the case, so it seems like partial dismantling of the case will be necessary. The problem is that everything seems to be held together with a type of screw I've never seen before: the head has a small round hole in the middle (i.e., it's not a normal Phillips head). It's also not a Torx, square, hex, etc. Does anyone have any idea what this is, or, even better, does anyone know the best way to take this thing apart so that I can get the hard drive out? Thanks for your help.

Andy

Right after I sent that, I took another look at the case and discovered that I can get to the other two hard drive screws with the back panel off. Not sure why I didn't notice that before. I still haven't solved the mystery of the screws, but it's not important now. Thanks anyway.
