any suggestions?

Hi. Looks pretty good. If you are planning on going to 3 Monitors, you will need to install another one of those cards and go Crossfire w/ eyefinity. Having said that it brings us to something else. That series of Power Supplies isn't their best. It should be fine as I have heard no complaints about it. My concern is if it is good enough to drive two cards. The specs are good, just the quality is a bit suspect. As I said, I've heard of no complaints as far as running a single card. As for the VRAM, you wil have enough with two cards in Crossfire.

so maybe i wont run 3 monitors.. have not purchased any monitors yet, only have a crappy one i plan on using until i upgrade. But another card is not in my budget really.. unfortunate, but good to know. Any cards that are cheaper but will give me just as good performance on one monitor?

any reason it says 750 psu for the R9 280x? just to cover their butts?

Who knows. The important part is what you have on the rail, and you have 62a on the +12v rail which is fine with some overhead to boot. I am running an i7 4770k with a GTX 680 Video card and I am only pulling about 425w. With an 850w PSU in here, I am way past overkill, unless I add a second 680. Just run what you have and get a decent monitor when you can. The expansion can be done when you have the budget for it and if you want to do that. A three Moniutor set up, looks good, but can be a pain to accomplish.

any suggestions for a cheaper good quality PSU?

What i meant was 750W+ for running two R9 280X in crossfire is enough.
Running one R9 280X 550W is enough.
AMD puts 750W to cover the low end quality power supply. A low quality 750W is similar to a quality 550W power supply.
Whilst three monitor gaming is a nice goal to aim for, it is expensive to run.

Not really. Most that I looked at were more. I think you'll ber fine with that one. I think you could do worse with their CS stuff.
