Ok I have recently had a problem with my current router which I believe to have narrowed it down to the router causing lag spikes. I currently have the Netgear DGN3700. What I am looking for is a UK compatable router. There are quite a lot of devices using it at once (maybe up to 6 connected mainly browsing). We need a strong signal router that can handle a lot of these devices. Are there any suggestions? I should add that the price range is £20 - £80

Do you have any additional requirements that you need for your router? Otherwise, I would just grab your basic 8 port router ( I prefer Linksys brand, but to each their own). As long as you don't plan on doing anything too technical, one router is more or less the same as any other. As always, you will get what you pay for, so try not to go too cheap. I can't recommend any online sites that ship to the UK other than newegg.com, but if you have a favorite give it a shot. Most sites will have a comments section from others who have already purchased the unit. These comments are where I make most of my decisions from when purchasing.

Sounds like any cheap consumer grade wireless router will do. I'm not familiar with UK models.

Also, I'll stay away from Linksys, especially the EA3500. There new models don't support after market firmware which is a rather a dirty practice.
