GPU Overheating to 86c

hi all,

im new to this forum and also im pretty noobish at computers lol. but anyway let me head into my issue. i own a nvidea gtx 280 ( yes a very old one) but i had to replace it when my old one got a blue screen of death ;( when i play need for speed most wanted after 5 minutes it starts heating up to 86c! also when its on idle its normally 65c. please can people help me out? and also i will list the rest of my components.

CPU: Intel i7 970 6 core 3.2ghz
GPU: Nvidea GTX 280
Power supply: Corsair TX850
Motherboard : ASUS P6X58D-E

P.S when it starts to overheat it gets really loud and i can hear the fans spinning extraordinary.

you will need a new gpu . but when was the last time you dust off the system .

then if you never dust it off it is time to do it get a few can of compressed air and dust off all the system specialy the cpu ,gpu ,spu and case fan .use this on the sensor part to check your temp and fan speed http://www.hwinfo.com/download.php
