The 8 pin modular sockets are more likely for PCI-E connectors. IF the ATX +12V or EPS connector for your motherboard is a fixed cable on the power supply, use this.

I assume you have a CX750M, in which case it is just a matter of swapping out the cables that you currently have hooked up to it with the ones you just ordered. Your power supply comes with a hardwired 8 pin EPS cable, and spots for 2 PCI-e cables, or since they were nice with their pinout, an ATX 4+4 or EPS 8 pin cable.

You can disconnect the hardwired one and plug the 8 pin EPS cable in your set into one of the PCI-e slots on the PSU and the other end into the spot near the CPU.

Note for those who come later - DO NOT DO THIS! Unless you have a CXM series PSU most of them have different pin outs for their EPS and PCI-e connectors, Corsair was just nice enough to make it so this one didn't. This is the one exception!

so its just a matter of connecting the ones i ordered onto the psu and connecting the other end to the plug in on the mobo, so i dont need to dissconect the wire that is inside the psu

No, do not open that PSU! Use the modular ports on the front of it. If you had this question you shouldn't be playing within a switching power supply. They tell you no user servicable parts inside for a reason.
