Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to look at this. Okay, so I play battlefield 4 alot, but recently.. after I upgraded my whole computer. My games are cut really short now, the game freezes and so does my computer, forcing me to do a hard reset. This has only happened while playing games like WoW, The Witcher 2, BF4,GTA IV.. etc. Now I have no idea what is going on since it like.. literally just started doing this.
My Specs: GTX 660 2GB
Intel i7 4771 proc
ASUS MAXIMUS VI FORMULA LGA 1150 Intel Z87
Kingston HyperX Beast 16 GB Kit (2x8 GB)
Corsair 750w power supply

I ended up buying a new power supply (the one up in the desc)
And it didnt help at all. The only old thing in my computer is a hard drive that is.. 4-5 years old.. and its bad. Everything is brand new, except for that.

Okay I have hwinfo64... I have really never used it. How do I get the load temps?

You need to run a CPU benchmark like prime95 for 10 mins or so to get the CPU to load temp. Then with the GPU you need to stress it with a benchmark or a game and check the temp.

Don't bother with that stuff. Just do what I listed in my previous post.

I got the cpu temps: " alt="" class="imgLz frmImg " />

Heres the gpu benchmark also:

Also I took a picture of the benchmark ( if its necessary)

CPU is too hot - 82C. Vcore is OK - 1.072V. cpu fan ok - 2000rpm

Your cooler isn't working well enough - what make and model?

My cooler is a stock model, it came with the cpu, I have a better one I think, but I dont know where to find the Pre-applied thermal compound. I have a ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2, CPU Cooler,

'Pre-applied' means it is already on the cooler's cpu block. Have a look. The cpu block should have plastic on it and between the plastic and the cpu block ther should be a drop of what looks like thick cream. That's the Thermal paste.

If there isn't any, but some Arctic Silver thermal paste from your nearest pc shop. To fit the cooler - http://youtu.be/RAL-T9u3bmc - Linus will show you how to do it.
