Can you have one internal hdd that is shared by two computers as a secondary drive?

Hi. I just got a new pc with a great cpu for Sony Vegas video editing. The problem is I record on my other computer. I know I could just combine the pcs but I would like to keep them seperate so that I could play games while the other computer is rendering. Also copying 20-45GB files wouldn't be too easy. Is there a way to share one hdd between two computers? They would be secondary hdds so they would not be running off the same one.

Thanks very much,

Just create a directory on one that you want to share, share it, and map it on the 2nd computer.
