Is it fine to change out a i7-3770 to out in my main build, and replace it with an i3-3240? The 3770 will go in my second PC

If your motherboard can handle the i7, it will be fine with the i3, Windows 'may' ask you to reactivate as hardware changed, but I doubt it, and even that you should only need your Windows Product Key
