Hello forum,
OK run down of my system:
Mobo: Asus A88xm-a
Processsor: Amd Anthon x4 750k
Ram: Kingston khx1600c9d3/4g
Video: Asus Radeon r7 240
Power supply: 600w. Model: rs-600-pcar
Hd: Seagate 1tb
Ive installed everything it will boot up and operate in Asus bios just fine and as long as I let it sit in bios it will continue to operate. But when I load the windows 8 DVD into the disk drive and it boots from it around 1.5 to 2.5 minutes it will either freeze or reset and try to boot from the DVD again as if it was the first time. No error messages will show up. I've double check cpu operating Temps and they stay around 115 degrees f. I've checked the ram and it's on the recommended ram chips by Asus. And I don't know what else to attempt to fix it. Any info or suggestions I would greatly appreciate.
Thanks for your time.

Edit: I've also in bios attempted to run it in the optimized settings and sata is set to ahci

Look at the disc, is it visibly scratched or dirty? try cleaning it with a lint free cloth

hold on, are you sure that 115 degrees is Fahrenheit and not Celsius? Systems usually give temperature readings in degrees Celsius, not Fahrenheit.

I've updated the bios once to 1301 I think it was the most recent one.
And yes Fahrenheit it shows both units of temperature. Which is why I don't think the processor is overheating I've seen it at 123 after an attempt at installing right after it restarts but that's about as high as I've seen it

not sure why my post was selected as the solution, this isn't solved as of yet

also you should just stick to the Celsius readings on this forum, we're all used to working with Celsius, not Fahrenheit. If you give Fahrenheit numbers everyone will be confused and have to convert them.

115F ~ 46C so that's normal I guess..

Something that I'd like to point out: your budget PSU is pretty low quality. It's possible that it is failing in some capacity and causing your computer to shut down/restart.

you should get a better brand. Your wattage is fine for your system, but power supplies are much more than their wattage number.

It will boot up in bios just fine and runs as long as I let it but I boot from the disk to install windows 8.1 os and about 1 to 2 mins from the point it is booting from the disk it will freeze and about 30 seconds later restart and act like nothing has happened and attempt to boot from the disk again
