Im going to build my first pc in 2weeks. Im going to use it for games so i want the best gaming performance possible. Also i want great audio quality as im a bit music maniac.

I think it would be better to change the power supply to a XFX 650W. It is a semi modular power supply and is only £2 more.
You can get a MSI GTX 780 at a cheaper price which will perform similar to the EVGA

Not really. You could get the R9 280X but it won't run quite as well. It consumes more power than the GTX 780 also.

@shopa89: ur build is good. But theres a tiny little issue. The cpu 8 pin cable in the s12ii is slightly short and u may get a minor issue in cable management. If u dont mind how the pc looks inside, then u can go with this build.

I think you have to wait for the z97 to come in stock. I not sure when but i saw some retailers may receive motherboards on the 20th of May. If you want to wait a bit before getting the z97 you can but If you need a computer now get a z87. There are certain motherboards that you can get now at some retailers like MSImotherboards.
