My computer
17-4770k
8gb ram
750 watts of power
1TB HD
gtx 770
z87-plus motherboard

Whenever I try to play crysis my computer crashes and displays a screen that is either coloured blue or pink or red or something random. Then my monitor loses signal and my computer crashes.

Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date.
Try another graphics card

Download and run HWInfo64

Temps OK? cpu < 60C, 770 < 80C

Voltages OK - cpu 1.4V max, gpu - 1.0V max, 12v, 5v and 3v within 0.2v?

Fan rpm OK ~ 1000 rpm?

To OP- Check that your game is patched (there are 2 or 3 patches).
Run the game with compatibility for Vista SP2.
Disable all Overclocks (Crysis is sensitive for OC).
Check that your PSU has at least 42A on the +12V rails.

If you done all the above and the game still crashes try to run the game on DX9 mode, if it does not crash here you may have a bad DX10 component on the GTX 770.

Can you fill in a bit more detail on your build - make and model, case, os?
