Ok, so i'm building a computer, and to save money, i'm using the 500 gb hard drive that came with my current pc in the build. I know how to remove and install it. I don't know how my new os will handle it.
So, the hard drive is divided into two partitions: D:\ which is where all my stuff is stored, and C:\ which houses a Windows Vista restore function.
Now, my new OS is going to be Windows 8.1 64 bit OEM. And i'm wondering if Windows 8.1, upon the start of installation, will automatically format the hard drive and remove the partition (which is what i would like done), or if i will have to. And if I will have to, what do i need to do?
Thanks!
