I recently decided to SLI my two graphics cards and am having a problem with the location of my sound card. The only place to plug it into is a PCI express x1 port right in the middle of my two GPU's. The main problem is that the sound card is only about 1mm from the fans of the GPU on top and is creating a heat build up due to the lack of air flow. That being said, I was wondering if there was a way to move my sound card to a drive bay at the front of my computer with some kind of extension. If so, how? And if not, then is there another solution to my problem? Thanks in advance, below my sound card is poster just in case.

Maybe this would help - http://www.ebay.com/bhp/pci-express-extension

You again? Haha thanks for the help on the last post I had btw.

Ive seen those but it just wont work. As far as I can tell those are more for moving it to a different expansion slot in the back correct? If so that wont work because the only other one available is still below my second GPU, touching it.

A bigger mobo? A bigger case? Gets expensive. I thought you could play with one for $10 to see how it panned out

Although I dont feel like thats the only solution. Ive been digging for links to anything on what I want to really do, which is place the sound card inside a drive bay up front.
I found this link , but I haven't yet been able to find somewhere to buy these or something similar. I am still looking.

I can't either - try their sales - http://www.ioi.com.tw/contact.aspx

It's a clunky solution though.
