So my sister was using my computer, then she left and she just turn off a monitor, when she came back she turn on the monitor and it all black, I know 1 thing that the monitor is still running but I don't know why this happen. I tried to restart a few time and it not helping at all, we still have the same problem. I tried to unplug the power supply and turn it off but nothing help. My dad told me that the hard drive is dead, but I think the problem coming from the GPU, since we tried with another hard drive and it still black. My pc is about 2 years old. I planning on getting a new one, but I just want to know how turn it back on so I can recovery all my data.
I hope you guys will help me.
My spec:
AMD FX 4100 Quad Core
Gigabyte M68MT-S2
GeForce GT 520
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200
8 GB Ram
And I'm pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the heat

Hi

You can remove the gpu and use only one stick of ram.
then use the onboard video port then check if the computer can reach the bios.

Also if the computer produces a beep sound check the ram.

How u do that ? Check the bios think, I'm not really good at this and I don't want to destroy my pc.I think the problem come from the GPU, because the last time I touched it almost burned my hand

Basically just remove the gpu from the pci-e slot of the motherboard,

There's a small latch/lock at the pci-e slot, just undo the lock then pull the gpu out.
