ProXPN frozen after updating to WIndows 8.1, other application are responding. cannot click on the VPN icon on the system tray

Try uninstalling the application and re-installing. Some settings may have become corrupt in the update process.

thanks for your reply, i have already tried reinstalling but had no success.

Have you tried running a checkdisk or your drive? I would try uninstalling ProXPN, scanning the drive and then re-installing. If this still does not work, you could try an alternative VPN software solution. Perhaps ProXPN simply does not offer a stable 8.1 environment, I can not find anything on their website about supported operating systems. Best of luck - Sub

I did run checkdisk as wel as an sfc scan, funny thing is only the proxpn app does not work, even a right click would not work, i have created a test user and same thing happens.
