ASRock H87 - PERFORMANCE

ATI Radeon R9 270

Corsair CX500 - cheap but great for the price, as overclocking is not top priority for this build

2x4GB G-Skill RipjawZ 1866Mhz, or 1600Mhz then OC yourself to 1866, as that's the only difference.

Cooler Master HAF 912

WD Blue 1TB

Stock CPU cooler should be enough.


Don't know the price of that, but try it!

Could you also suggest which (web)shop that you might buy from as it would make it easier to look up prices in India and compare those to the international community? From my understanding there is also some parts which is only available in some countries or area of the world, so that would help avoid suggesting parts that you might not have access to.

Do you have any experience in building yourself and are you going to OC any parts like CPU or GPU?

Do also provide us with information about what resolution and screen size your monitor have and what kind of connection as to find the best solution for GPU (video card). What games are you going to play and other uses you might have from your monitor might also be of help to pick the best balance between GPU and CPU.

I would be buying my components from local shops
i have selected the gpu its nvidia gtx 650 with 1017clock speed nd 2gb GDDR5 memory
i have selected a dell monitor its a full hd monitor
i would be playing games like assasins creed 4,3 cod 4 , black opps 2,fifa 14, nfs rivals, gta 4 nd many other upcoming games
i also wanted to knw can i run these games on full hd resolution nd
4gb ram would be enough or i would have to get the 8gb

Prices can be very different between countries and can even be changing very fast, so please provide us with some shops that will represent what your local shop sell and with prices in your local currency.


You should at least have 8 GB DDR3 RAM @1600 MHz or higher rated bandwidth (dual channel kit: 2 x 4GB) today to avoid trouble with stability as a kit should have been tested and warranted to run at the specified setting at a certain Volt. With 8 GB you will at least have the base line for a system that will be able to load games and switch to other task when needed. It is no point in going too cheap on memory (RAM) as it is even possible that prices might go up when DDR4 will be introduced. Older tech is not always cheaper tech when it comes down to RAM and CPU.

It is a bit unclear for me if you already bought this video card or you are only planning on buying it?
