About a week ago, I had this problem with the pc i built about a year ago. Randomly, my audio will have lag and terrible distortion (this is using headphones, the Razer Kraken Pros). For example, when I'm using my headphones and move the audio slider on the taskbar, instead of making the "ding" sound it usually does, it makes a distorted pop, and then a VERY distorted noise which i assume is the ding that I should be hearing. I tried updating my drivers with windows update, which fixed nothing. I know it's not my headphones, because they work with my phone and when I plug in other headphones I have the same issue. Would the thing causing the distortion be software related, or perhaps the jack in my case (CM Storm Trooper)? Another weird thing is that it is sporadic, last night i was playing games and my audio was fine, but now its completely jacked. Any help is greatly appreciated
