Problem:
I have a Lexar LJDS23-64G USB3 Flash drive (64 Gbt). The problem is it could not be recognized on a Lenovo G575 64 bit laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium service pack 1 which has two USB 2 ports. The flash drive did not appear under My computer. The device did not appear under computer drive management. I had all the latest driver updates from Windows update. When the usb drive was inserted, the light came on for a few seconds and I could hear a sound that a device had been inserted but nothing else happened. The driver was not automatically installed.

Solution: With the flash drive inserted, I went to start/devices and printers/ and found the usb drive listed there at the top. Right click/troubleshoot/ driver not found/suggested fix install driver, It worked fine after that.

I hope this information will be useful to someone else who experiences this problem.

Kind Regards

Chris
