Hi guys
Im looking for the best 21:9 aspect ratio monitor for my new workstation/gaming rig

And i've made up my mind for picking these two

Here's my two top contender
Asus - MX299Q http://
VS
LG 29UM65 http://

I love 21:9 aspect ratio regardless of the issues compability for gaming and software etc

Btw im also having trouble choosing the correct GPU for this monitors (im on a budget)

So It'll be a bless if you guys also give me advice on which gpu should i pick between:
Asus GTX 770 2GB http://
VS
Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB http://

Will the 2gb vs 4gb frame buffer help so much on 2560 x 1080 monitors?

I want you guys thoughts about this two products and what do you guys think which one should i pick

Thank you so much if you want to participate on this thread and help me!

Oh, in Finland AOC is quite popular. In that case go for the Asus :)

My vote is for the Asus and the 4GB card. Can't go wrong with either of those monitors, but that resolution will be VRAM-bottlenecked at 2GB. A friend of mine has the same setup with a 2GB gtx 680 (essentially the same card as the 770), and he definitely notices it. That said, I've seen it work. Getting 2GB wouldn't be terrible if you can't afford 4GB, but the extra VRAM would definitely help.
