Hello everyone this is my first time writing on a forum so cut me some slack. To start my issue is that my onboard audio on the AsRock A88x killer motherboard alternates to being fully powered and loud to sometimes being extremely quiet as if its only picking up the un-amplified audio. I have a cx500 from corsair and the main 24 pin cable does not lock into place on my motherboard, if wiggled it falls out.My theory is that my audio chipset is not being powered when i plug the power back in. So my question is, is this a possible issue?

PC Specs

ASRock Fatal1ty FM2A88X+ Killer
AMD A10-7850k
Corsair 16gb DDR3 1866 CAS 9
WD Blue 1TB
Corsair cx500
Coolermaster haf 922
Corsair H80i

Solution
So I figured it out myself, my theory was correct my onboard DAC was not being fully powered because my main 24 pin was not fully plugged in. I really wish that the connection would lock however it seems to be a common issue with both corsair and asrock.
