Best GPU to go with amd a8-6600k?

Hey guys, I was wondering to buy a decent GPU for a while now. My current configuration goes like this:
AMD A8-6600k APU ( gpu overclocked to 1100 something MHz)
Corsair vengeance 4gb RAM ( overclocked at 1600MHz)
Corsair 550w power supply

Also, My budget is rupees 13k max. This is going to be my first GPU, so i'm a bit indecisive. I've looked into radeon 7850 and looks great for my needs and budget. Would it be good choice to couple it with a8? Also, if there are better cards, please educate me.

Considering you're in India, I would forego the NVIDIA route. Your best bet would be the R9 270 or R9 270x. It would be a great card, and if you play games that have Mantle option, you will get much better performance, as the APU isn't the best CPU.

Thank you for your reply. R7 265 definitely looks like the card to go for me as r9 series is a little expensive for me.
And one more question, Will there be any performance issues due to the week cpu & what is the deal about mantle?

With a 265 you'll be fine regarding the CPU.

And Mantle is a new API from AMD that offloads some of the CPU work onto the GPU. This greatly helps performance in games like BF4 that utilize Mantle when you have a weaker CPU like an APU.

Your CPU and GPU (when you get the R7 265) will work in tandem very well. No performance issues due to a weak CPU. Mantle is an AMD thing that is in some games that allows games to use all the cores on your CPU, boosting performance. Mantle technology works very well with my computer (I have an AMD FX-6300 and 2 7950's). You should be just fine with your intended build.

Mantle is an alternative to DirectX 11, but it is only supported by few games at the moment (BF4 for example).

There won't be much bottlenecking; Your CPU is a pretty good match for the R7 265.
