Hi now that i know how to use guru 2 1.47, does anyone know the gigabyte's gtx 780 oc safe overclock speeds of base clock and memory clock do not want to set it too high

Overclocking a GPU is just overclocking. It doesn't matter the brand, as all the chips are made by NVIDIA. This is common knowledge on overclocking. If you set an overclock too high, the driver will crash before it can do any damage to the GPU or the system.

You can't really 'set it too high'. If you overclock too far, it will simply crash the driver. Just start bumping up your core clock 25 MHz at a time until you get the crash, then step back 25 or 50 MHz. For the memory (do after the core clock overclock) start by adding 50 or 75 at a time until you get a crash, then step back 75 MHz.

The overclock range is different on each card, also when it comes down to cards from the same brand. Any overclock is safe if it runs stable, if you want a "safe" overclock you should just raise the base clock by around 100mhz, but if i where you i would go full in on OC'ing or don't bother the tiny performance boost you'll get from a small overclock.

Yes i understand that i just want to not experiment but get a good base and memory clock setting AND BE HAPPY i just thought someone would say i set to this I'M HAPPY LOL

Well as nicom said, the range can vary greatly from card to card, and like I said, they're all the same chip from the same manufacturer, regardless of who is selling it. If you're this worried, I wouldn't even worry about overclocking, as GPU boost already overclocks by itself, and you may only see a couple % increase in performance.
