So recently my friend and I have agreed that I will sell my pc to him for about £400 and i get to keep the GPU and hardrives. I've been choosing parts for a new PC and for my CPU I have decided to go with an i5 4440 because I would like to upgrade to in i7 in the future and my old AMD FX 4300 used to bottleneck my GTX 760 sometimes so if I bought the 4440 would this solve my problems? Also since I play loads of DayZ SA I chose this CPU because apparently intel CPUs are better for DayZ than AMD. Am I wasting my money? Should I go with AMD or opt for something better like an i5 4670k, or even an i7?

The rest of the PC I am building includes:

Gigabyte B85-HD3 Motherboard
Corsair Carbide Series 200R
ASUS GTX 760 2gb
HyperX 8 GB 1600 MHz RAM (2x4gb)
1x160gb hdd 1x 320gb hdd
1x Optical drive
Corsair CX500M 500w PSU (carried over from old PC)

It is also worth mentioning that I do record videos and livestream on Twitch occasionally.

Solution
AMD is no longer a good choice for gaming. The FX series simply aren't fast enough anymore (still decent for video editing etc.) If you plan on OCing get the 4670K if not and you can afford it get either 4570 or a 4670. The 4440 is still a decent choice though.
