Hi, i plan on getting a GTX 770 within the next couple weeks as school ends, but i dont know if i will need a 2Gb or the 4GB version. I plan on running 2 monitors at atleast 1080p.

Also, what do you guys think is the best version of the 770? i was thinking either PNY, EVGA, ASUS, or MLI.

Thanks in advance guys

If you plan on getting and 3rd screen and running the game across all three monitors then go for the 4GB but if its just 1080p on your main screen then the 2GB will be fine.

Asus, Msi or Evga all good cards

Only reason you should get the 4gb version is if you play on 1440p+ res AND are going to SLI otherwise the 2gb version is plenty. As for the make/model... I'd go with either the EVGA ACX, ASUS DirectCu ii, or MSI Gaming.

This one is the best performance/dollar card... its about $20-$30 cheaper than the Evga and Asus and runs really cool/quiet.

You can still get away with running SLI 2GB 770s @ 1440p. Less AA is needed at that res. 3 1080p monitors would be a good setup to go with SLI 4GBs.

Well i dont think i would ever go with 3 monitors and i dont really have any plans to do any SLI/XFire in the near future so im not really worried about that. But i think i decided on the MSI Twin Frozr.
