First time building a gaming computer! 1300$ budget

Hello, looking to buy a gaming/streaming pc for around 1000-1200$. I want to run games such as Rust, Bf4, Dayz and others on good enough graphics. If you could help me out with a build, that would be great and i appreciate any help I receive.+ im afraid that i will ruin something :p

Additional Comments: Currently own portal 2 arma 3 Dayz Standalone, Dayz mod and a lot of other steam games.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Have a laptop, but the video card and everything is so outdated that i cant play arma 3 properly.

If i was to buy a i7 processor and or 16gb of ram how big of a difference will it make?

in gaming? none. or to little to warrent the price. 8g is the sweet spot for ram in gaming and you wont need more nor would you benefit. Also the major difference between the i5 and i7 is hyperthreading which is only usefull if you are doing heavy editing or developing. games only use 4 cores at most and most dont even use that.
