I have just made my brand new gaming pc. I have put all the parts together and it all seemed to be working fine. I installed windows 8 pro onto the solid state drive and it all worked fine to start with, I then installed motherboard driver, which was fine but it all started to go down hill when I tried to install my graphics card drivers. I started the install and then it went to a black screen and just restarted. After looking up fixes I tried updating to windows 8.1 and decided to do the automatic updates, which there were 104 of. Once those were completed , the system restarted and now refuses to load the OS. I managed to get it to go back to a restore point and did everything again , to try and get it to work again, however once I did that I got the same results. To make matters worse now it refuses to let me use a system restore point, as I cant get to that menu. Im completely void of ideas and was wondering if anyone had any idea what I should try next.

Thanks in advance,

Luke

If you try installing windows 8 onto the regular HDD, how does it work?

(the SSD is just kind of a waste of money for gaming, only improving loading times)
