Hi there, I already checked tons of other threads trying to solve this on my own, but even though many of these threads came pretty close none of them matched exactly nor helped me to solve this one. So I think I'll just start with a description of the scenario: I recently rearranged my apartment and therefore moved my PC. I didn't shake it, nor let it fall or anything, trust me I've been very gentle ;) but even after I've cut the hardware down to a minimum of parts I keep getting this:
After I press the power button the fans of the cpu heatsink and the GPU start spinning, the power LED lights up and flash drives start spinning. Also the processing/read LED starts flickering as I'm used to. As I am expecting a familiar single short beep to come up and the display signal to be given to show at least some BIOS information, the read/Busy LED does a bright single flash and afterwards both lights turn off and fans and disks stop spinning.
Then just as if I had preset the reset button, fans and disks start again, LEDs go on but the PC freezes at this point. No visual signal and the Busy LED stays off despite some single flashes then and now...
When I reset the computer after a couple of minutes, it gets into this mode right away, so does it when forcing it off and turning on again. So the first part only happens, when I remove the power cable or turn off the power switch and then start it (applying power cable and switching it back on before off course).

I already removed RAM and Drives separately without having changed any of the behaviour... I also tried removing the MBs battery, as well as Jump Reseting. Still no changes... I guess it could be either the mb or the power supply or the cpu...

I have a Asus P5Q Pro MB and Intel I7 chip, as well as a HEC-300LR-PTX power supply... If you have anything on your mind, what might help my with this, I'd be very thankful If you shared it with me... If you think I should really ask a technician about this please let me know as well... Thanks guys and girls ;)

Have you tried a different power plug (in the wall)? Also, have you tried powering on without the GPU plugged in and running video through the motherboard? What kind of GPU do you have? HEC isn't a great power supply brand, and 300w isn't very much power to begin with.
