How many profiles can Windows 7 support?

We have some shared PCs, each user has their own login and profile. The PCs are used by shift workers and are used 24 hours a day. There are frequently over 100 profiles on these PCs. We find these PCs slow way down, and can take 1-30 minutes to log on. Is there any documentation on how many profiles and what sizes are recommended? Most answers I find say it doesn't matter, since rarely is more than one loaded at a time. I deleted 150 profiles (all but mine) from a PC and it went from the login prompt into fully functioning Windows in around 30 seconds. Prior to deleting the profiles it took over 1/2 hour, and sometimes just showed the spinning cursor for over an hour and the rebooted the PC. I'm in the process of cleaning the 4th in a few days, they all have 90 to 170 profiles and run fine once the profiles are cleaned out.

There is no practical limit other than disk space limitations. If you're having problems logging there is either something wrong with the disk, or the profile.

Look at Citrix serves. They are designed for remote log-ins, and ours routinely have hundreds of profiles on them, and run just fine. A Win 7 box would be no different.
