Hello everyone. I was looking at building a system and I was wondering what "version" of 8GB ram was the best. 1x8, 2x4, or 4x2. I'm just using the PC for gaming not heavy video or photo editing. If it help I was hoping to get some DDR3-1866 CAS 9 ram.

Sorry if this is a little off topic from original post but what would you guys suggest between these sets. I chose all around the same price range.

There's really no difference; Get the cheapest one.

8 Gb is plenty and unlikely you'll ver use all of that under normal conditions. A lot are going to 16 Gb, myself included, but it is a waste from what I've seen.
