Hello,
I'm looking for a cooling solution for overclocking my CPU. I know there are a whole section here but I haven't seen anything about Voltair V3 TEC cooler. It is already available at newegg:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835857001
I need to do intensive CPU usage for scientific calculation and overclocking an i7 970 (gulftown) 1 GHz above saves me 25% of the time (that means 54 instead of 72 hours per simulation), so instead of desiring more FPS, I just need something that can run warm (and won't turn on fire) unatended. For this reason I'm turning more in looking for the famous Noctua NH-D14 instead of a water cooling solution.
Today I saw the Voltair, but I'm reluctant to try it since there is zero, nada, none info.
Have someone tried it? Can someone recommend me any alternative?
Thanks.
